For our customer, we are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer with Linux & Kubernetes experience.

The IT Infrastructure Operations department has overall responsibility for all IT services in production, including day-to-day operations, improvement, and lifecycle management. We strive for operational excellence, fostering a culture based on competency, collaboration, and people development. The customer is now looking for a Platform Engineer to strengthen their team. The consultant will work in a Platform Team responsible for a High-Performance Computing (HPC) Cluster. The team collaborates closely with various Product Teams.

Tasks:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the HPC's Linux environments, Kubernetes clusters, and the business applications running on them.
• Take initiative to analyze, review, and identify potential improvements and modernization opportunities in existing environments.
• Coordinate with developers, infrastructure engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Stay updated with cutting-edge technologies, features, and industry trends, and propose improvements to infrastructure operations processes.

Organization:

• The position will report to the Manager of Application and Middleware – Infrastructure Operations.

Allocation:

• Long-term (yearly renewal).

Required Competence:

• Senior-level Platform/Infrastructure Engineering knowledge with a strong understanding of operational excellence.
• Broad overall IT infrastructure competency.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
