We are seeking an experienced Backup & Restore Infrastructure Consultant to join our team on a project basis. The consultant will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and enhancing our backup & restore infrastructure on-premises. The primary focus will be on Dell Data Domain and associated infrastructure, ensuring its efficiency and reliability. The consultant will also play a crucial role in documenting restore processes and training relevant personnel in our Operations Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and enhance backup & restore infrastructure, with a primary focus on Dell Data Domain and associated systems.
• Document restore processes comprehensively to facilitate efficient recovery in case of incidents.
• Instruct and train Operations Centre personnel on the usage of restore processes and tools.
• Collaborate with 1st and 2nd line Operations Centre teams to ensure smooth execution of restore jobs.
• Provide technical expertise and support as needed to resolve backup & restore-related issues.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• 5 or more years of experience in operating Dell Data Domain and related infrastructure.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with backup & restore in physical and virtual Windows and Linux environments using Dell's backup and restore infrastructure.
• Proficiency in documentation processes, ensuring clear and comprehensive documentation of procedures and processes.
• Strong communication and teaching skills, with the ability to effectively instruct and train Operations Centre personnel.
