For our Retail customer in Oslo, we are searching for a team consisting of 3-4 consultants.
The customer is a technology firm that provides modern and effective solutions for those in the retail space. It helps brick-and-mortar stores grow their sales by using data analysis and advanced metrics in order to get the best results possible.

Main responsiblities

• Working closely with senior stakeholders and architects to understand business requirements and help translate these into technical requirements for the development team
• Planning and documenting technical specifications for features or system design
• Designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements
• Writing testable, scalable, and efficient code
• Work on software development projects within different disciplines which influences multiple areas of the business.
• Work collectively with the product owner, program leadership, and others and support them in resolving issues

Qualifications:

• Solid programming experience with backend tools such as Python, PHP, C#, Java or Microsoft .NET framework development in cloud environments
• Proficient in working with cloudbased relational (SQL) and non-relational databases (NoSQL)
• Hands-on experience of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Knowledge of Angular frontend framework is a plus
• Experience from development of effective API’s, preferably in an “API first” environment
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related, or demonstrated experience from the field
• Quick problem-solving skills with exceptional aptitude and reasoning
• Ability to frame ideas in words to provide a perspective and outcome
• Good understanding of software design patterns and web services
• Good understanding of source control systems like Git
• Good communication skills to work in a friendly workplace environment
• The ideal candidate will be passionate about and experienced with the latest cloud technology (one of AWS, Azure or GC)
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, containerized deployment and SSO/OAUTH is an advantage
