Our customer is looking for a TV & Streaming Junior Backend Developer with dev&ops skills for the Content & Metadata team. The team is responsible for developing and operating ingest of video material and metadata from multiple partners on the internal TV & Streaming platforms.

As part of the team you will be delivering and maintaining:

• Our customer's applications for mobile and tablets.
• The newest Android TV client for our customer.
• Our customer’s legacy TV platforms.

The position will include maintaining & operating both the legacy platforms and the newest TV & Streaming platform, but the focus will be on the legacy platforms in the 1st period, where operations are in focus. When the legacy platforms are taken out of service,  there might be a possibility to be migrated into a fully backend developer position.

Requirements:

• You have a degree in Computer Science, ICT, or a related technical field.
• Your English is fluent, in both written and oral.
• Norwegian or other Nordic languages is a plus.

You also have experience within either or:

• Candidates with a good understanding within Python programming, or similar languages, is mandatory.
• AWS or similar cloud experience is a plus.
• Terraform experience is a plus.
• Familiar with broadcast delivery systems for linear-tv and/or On-Demand services is a plus.
• Experienced in Linux or similar OS is a plus.
• Basic understanding of Metadata formats & specs for usage within TV & VoD services is a plus.
