For our customer in the telecom industry, we are searching for a Data Engineer with Snowflake experience. 

Job description and requirements 

• Snowflake expert and Data Engineer 
• You understand what it takes to deliver insight from data. 
• You’re able to communicate with business and extract their needs. 
• You’re an experienced ETL developer and fluent in SQL. 
• You enjoy digging into sources, understanding them and how to connect them. 
• You also probably know Python. 
• You will be working mainly with Snowflake, but also with Oracle databases and SQL code. 
• You have a software engineering mindset; you’re interested in git and ci/cd processes. 
• 2 to 5 years of work exp. 

Must-have requirements

• At least a year experience developing data pipelines on Snowflake 
• At least three years of experience as a data engineer 
• Fluent English both written and verbal 

Good if the candidate has one or more of the following 

• Database architecture 
• Oracle Database 
• Can program in Python 
• Good understanding of optimization of SQL and databases
• Read and write Norwegian 

The consultant will be working mainly from home-office in 2020. We are hoping to extend the assignment into 2021, but then as a developer. If we do this, we will expect the consultant to be in the office in Oslo at least a few days a week. We will be evaluating CVs continuously and make a choice as soon as we have found a suitable candidate.
