We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst with expertise in ERP systems to join their team on behalf of our customer. As the Systems Analyst ERP, you will be responsible for implementing complex requirements in the ERP system and coordinating implementation measures with internal departments and external partners. Your main focus will be maintaining and enhancing the customer's current ERP and business applications, particularly in the areas of supply chain processes, Finance & Controlling, QS, and Non-Metal Procurement. You will provide 2nd level application support, create and maintain system documentation, lead business application projects in the ERP environment, maintain technical ERP platforms, support application interfaces, plan and conduct end-user trainings, contribute to process improvement, manage site responsibility for business applications in the area of Supply Chain Management, manage relationships with key users, business managers, and external partners, collaborate with the IT Infrastructure and IT Support teams, contribute to various responsibilities and KPIs, participate in the implementation of IT security guidelines, and be available for on-call duty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance the customer's current ERP and business applications, with a primary focus on supply chain processes, Finance & Controlling, QS, and Non-Metal Procurement.
- Provide 2nd level application support, addressing user inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring system stability.
- Create and maintain system documentation, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Lead business application projects in the ERP environment, including database management and programming in Recycling.
- Maintain technical ERP platforms, including servers, operating systems, middleware, and application software.
- Support and maintain application interfaces, such as EDI and SFTPS, ensuring seamless data integration and communication.
- Plan and conduct end-user trainings to ensure effective system utilization and keep users informed about software updates.
- Support process improvement initiatives and procedures in the application area, identifying opportunities for optimization and implementing changes.
- Assume site responsibility in accordance with regional IT management for the business applications in the area of Supply Chain Management.
- Manage relationships with key users, business managers, and external partners, collaborating effectively to meet business needs and objectives.
- Cooperate with the IT Infrastructure and IT Support teams, ensuring smooth integration and alignment of IT services.
- Contribute to KVP (Continuous Improvement), VV (Value-Added), Health, Safety, and Environmental responsibilities and KPIs of the respective area.
- Participate in the implementation of IT security guidelines and the introduction of security solutions to safeguard the ERP system.
- Be available for on-call duty, addressing urgent IT incidents and providing timely resolution.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in launching ERP systems and related IT business projects.
- Successfully completed commercial education or a degree with a focus on logistics or IT.
- In-depth experience with supply chain processes and ERP systems within a manufacturing company.
- Profound knowledge of ERP systems, especially SAP (S4/HANA).
- Experience in Unix, QAD MFGPRO/ProgressGL is an advantage.
- Knowledge of MS Windows, MS SQL Server, and O365.
- Excellent project management skills, both in agile and classic environments.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of effectively conveying technical information to different stakeholders.
- Strong customer and service orientation, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions and support.
- Independent and structured way of working, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Very good German and good English language skills, enabling effective communication within the team and with international stakeholders.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel as required for project implementations or other business needs.
