Design, evolve, and govern an AI Factory base platform to ensure platform‑layer capabilities align with the product roadmap. Support the Data Product Owner (DPO) in platform enhancements. Define cluster topology and hardware specifications; govern GPU‑as‑a‑Service (GPUaaS) and bare‑metal setups; lead network fabric (SDN), storage, and automation capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain cluster topology and hardware profiles for GPU/CPU environments.
- Govern GPUaaS and bare‑metal setups, including resource isolation and quota strategies.
- Design network fabric (SDN) and high‑performance storage architectures for AI workloads.
- Implement automation at scale using IaC/GitOps and compliance‑as‑code.
- Align platform designs with NVIDIA Reference Architecture and NVIDIA Enterprise AI Factory Architecture.
- Translate product roadmap features into platform capabilities and backlog items.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on architecture, upgrades, and incident resolution.
- Embed security, RBAC/ABAC, and auditability into platform designs and automations.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years in platform architecture across data center and cloud‑native environments.
- Hands‑on expertise with Kubernetes/OpenShift and multi‑tenant resource controls.
- Strong knowledge of SDN concepts and high‑performance storage for AI/ML workloads.
- Proven experience with IaC/GitOps (Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD) and lifecycle automation.
- Ability to align platform designs to reference architectures and product roadmaps.
- Experience working in a DevOps team
- Applicants must hold Norwegian citizenship in order to complete the mandatory Norwegian security clearance required for this position.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with NVIDIA Reference Architecture and NVIDIA Enterprise AI Factory Architecture.
- Experience with NVIDIA AI Enterprise Software
- Familiarity with GPU scheduling/sharing strategies (MIG, time slicing, pass‑through).
- Certifications: CKA/CKAD/CKS, Red Hat OpenShift, NVIDIA AI Enterprise (nice to have).
