Our customer is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Architect to join their team. As a Security Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing robust security solutions for our network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include implementing and maintaining security architecture for network devices, supervising network security across the local area and wide area networks, administrating and maintaining firewalls, Wi-Fi systems, and switches, conducting threat discovery analysis and threat hunting, and ensuring the lifecycle management of security devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a comprehensive security architecture for network devices, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our network infrastructure.
• Supervise and monitor network security across the local area and wide area networks, implementing measures to detect and mitigate security threats effectively.
• Administer and maintain firewalls, Wi-Fi systems, and switches, ensuring they are configured correctly, updated with the latest security patches, and aligned with industry best practices.
• Conduct thorough threat discovery analysis and threat hunting to identify potential vulnerabilities and proactively respond to security incidents.
• Manage the lifecycle of security devices, including planning for upgrades, evaluating new technologies, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Experience:

• Extensive knowledge and experience with firewalls, such as Sophos and Palo Alto, Cisco switches (IOS), and XDR-Tools, demonstrating the ability to implement and manage these technologies effectively.
• Strong background in network administration, including experience in designing and implementing network security solutions.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems would be advantageous, as it complements the overall network security ecosystem.
